Yes, you can. For any change you have to know stock lamp wattage: a classic 350 – headlamp is 60/55 W, Halogen (H4 Socket)

Following are the options to improve the headlight power:

1. Change the bulb only- a new H4 bulb will fit, Osram, Philips Xtreme are good options, keep in mind the new bulb wattage (W) should be lower or equal to your stock bulb.
2. Add LED Auxiliary – Safexbikes.com has a lot to offer in this segment. I would suggest 1 for spot and 1 for flood. Switch off your mains and switch on the aux for highways and off road, vice versa for cities. Don’t use them together.
3. Get Projectors with Halogen bulb  –  since projectors focus the light on a particular area, the light output is much better than reflectors. Check the Projector Headlight here at safexbikes.com
4. Change the headlamp to LED headlamp, these are generally 35W, and many are street legal. However, very expensive , you can find a decent one for around Rs 1500. Check the LED bulb for your Bullet here.
5. Replace stock bulb with HID bulb and add a blast – poor quality Chinese ones are cheap and dont last, good quality ones are expensive however the light output is the same as cheap quality LED. Was used widely before LED was widely available in the market.
6. Change wiring, RR unit and battery. – I would suggest avoiding this one until you find a decent mechanic or you are an automobile electrical engineer, you are really good at DIYs

7. Instead of replacing you old headlamp with a new one. Add 2 lamps with 6 LEDs with a separate switch. This will allow you ride on highways or night rides with the LEDs on & within the city limits you can ride only on your headlamp.

   Changing a headlamp, you may have to replace your battery with a high capacity. Whereas, LEDs doesn’t consume much of energy & can be installed on the 12 volts battery. Check the good looking LED Fog Lamp Pair offered by Safexbikes here.
